Line Cook

Job Title : Kitchen Staff (Prep Cook, Sack Lunch Prep, Dishwasher)

Reports to : Head Chef

Position Purpose / Major Function of the Position :

To further the mission of Colorado Outdoor Education Center by providing quality meals to clients and guests who have reserved the conference center space to learn on site.

Essential Job Functions :

• Prep and cook meals for clients dietary restrictions
• Wash and sanitize all used dishes
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Assist in maintaining a clean kitchen, sparkling dish-ware, and a tidy dining area

Other Job Duties :

• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaint / requests with professionalism and patience
• Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Perform any additional duties as assigned

Qualifications : (Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience)

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Excellent working knowledge of kitchen appliances, their operations and cooking methods
• Proven willingness to learn

• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Flexible Schedule including weekends

Physical Requirements of the Position :

• Ability to spend all day on your feet
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Compensation :

• Great work environment
• Meals during shift when clients are on site
• $14.50-$17.00 / hr
• Potential for Seasonal Housing for the right fit

Part Time, Full Time and Seasonal Available. Must pass a background check. the background check will occur after a conditional offer of employment has been extended by the hiring manager
