Colorado Lighting is Hiring an Electrical Foreman (FT) Near Denver, CO

ELECTRICAL FOREMAN - CLI SERVICES, INC.
$80,000 - $95,000 a year

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Preconstruction and construction meetings.
  • Meet to verify project material then material order sheets are sent to the Inventory Specialist to order.
  • Assist in scheduling, coordinating, and managing job labor/installation.
  • Document and report process and progress.
  • If any changes need to happen that are outside of the proposed scope submit a change order to the sales dept. and/or customers.
  • Place orders for material, scheduling delivers to meet installation timing
  • All remaining material is inventoried and identified for stock or returned.
  • Coordinates with customers for scheduling & installation. Communication is key.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Review deliverables prepared by the team before passing to client.
  • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Minimize exposure and risk on projects.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Manages project budget.
  • Assists with permit application and procurement.
BUSINESS DEVELOPEMENT:
  • Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
  • Effectively conveys our message in both written and verbal business development discussions.
 
COMMUNICATION:
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
  • Holds regular status meetings with the project team.
  • Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must hold a Colorado JW or Master’s License w/ 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Supervisor duties, responsibilities and expectations as applied to size and type of construction project.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrated ability to run two or more crews on a large project and/or to run a small project.
  • Ability to supervise, evaluate and develop lead journeymen, journeymen, and apprentices.
  • Demonstrated ability to run a project according to planned productivity budget.
  • Adapts to scope of work depending on size of project.
  • Demonstrated quality electrical installation and mechanical abilities.
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
