*Position start date is 6/4/24
*This position will work on-site at Everest Point Homeschool Academy - Northglenn on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00am - 4:00pm (16 hours) and work an additional 10 hours in an off-site/remote capacity for a total of 26 hours per week.
Purpose
To assist in the overseeing and running of the program, including managing P-card reconciliations, tracking enrollment and processing new student registrations, maintaining the school website, assisting with concurrent enrollment, and other day to day tasks on-site.
Job Duties
Develop relationships with all families, and be a trusted partner through their enrollment with the school, being able to answer most school-related questions
Enroll new students, as spots become available using School Mint.
Withdraw students when notified
Manage enrollment offers and numbers
Assist students in making class changes during the first two weeks of school, when requested and if available
Build student schedules in Infinite Campus
Build class sections in Infinite Campus
Develop and maintain spreadsheets to record students per day, family names/students, etc.
Build yearly class matrices and classes on the Everest Point website
Handle notifying families of class registration opening and closing dates/times, as well as instructions on how to register
Along with Administrative Assistant, maintain school website and calendar of events, including updating the announcement banner each Tuesday afternoon and informing families of delays or closures
Log all school charges in Excel budget, attach coversheet and file in house
Verify charges in P-card portal, classifying charges and adding receipts to online records
Reconcile all charges monthly and run report to verify all receipts are logged accordingly
Pay invoices as needed
Monitor and keep records of school cash flow
Make deposits
Work with the concurrent enrollment advisors through FRCC and AIMS community colleges to ensure CE students are properly enrolled
Track CE student charges semesterly
Verify classes and charges are correct as spreadsheets are sent to you for verification from the community colleges
Act as a liaison between parents with CE students and the college they are attending to answer questions on how we enroll CE students, what their voucher limits are, etc.
Build relationships within your building to ensure a family feel (this is a key to EPs success)
Assist in greeting families in the morning
Assist with dismissal
Check email daily and respond to ALL correspondence within no more than 1 business day (unless on a notified break, via auto-responder)
Assist Director in conducting interviews to hire new personnel, when needed
Attend trainings as necessary
Attend monthly staff meetings, taking notes and assisting Director when needed
Work as a group with Director and Administrative Assistant to help select unique and sought-after classes each year, including building the class matrices
Design and conduct minimal, but highly useful surveys to better operate the school
Assist Director with disciplinary meetings/actions of students, when needed
Assist in facilitating monthly school safety drills
Assist in monitoring and maintaining a safe school environment
Provide minor nursing to students (ie. Bandaids, icepacks), if Administrative Assistant is unavailable
Be present for all school events (Back to School Event, End of Year Ceremonies, etc.)
