Colonial Terminals (CTI) is currently seeking a Contract Manager to join their Corporate Development team. As the Contract Manager, you will work closely with and provide support to the Vice President and senior management. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-driven individual with previous experience drafting and administering contracts that can step in and take over the management of CTI’s contracts. JOB EXPECTATIONS/DUTIES Create, maintain and control access to a centralized contract management system for all CTI contracts. Serve as the gatekeeper for contract templates, responsible for editing and maintaining most recent versions (with support from Vice President and Colonial Group’s (CGI) General Counsel). Draft and prepare contract documents from boilerplates for current and prospective customers. Draft all contract correspondence to include commencement notices, escalations, terminations, etc. Responsible for gathering information for contract drafts from key CTI team members and ensuring they are meeting deadlines. Communicate contract renewals, terminations and other deadlines with Commercial, Operations and Accounting team members. Oversee invoicing of recurring contract payments with support from CTI Accounting personnel. Monitor accounts receivable for recurring customer invoices, notify senior management if customers are considered past-due. Work closely with the Legal Assistant for CGI to ensure CTI contracts are uploaded to CGI’s contract management system. Provide administrative support to the Vice President and perform other duties and project management support, as requested. Provide high-level support for the Corporate Development team and track current projects. Work as a liaison between the Corporate Development team and senior management across CTI. Submit and record invoices for ongoing development projects. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or 5 years relevant experience, preferred. Previous experience working with contracts. Experience working with legal language and ability to draft language for new contractual clauses required. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Technologically proficient and eager to learn new technology. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team player with high initiative.
