SUMMARY:

The Marketing Intern is primarily responsible for supporting the company in activities relative to customer communications, branding, advertising, and promotional efforts. Duties will include clerical and administrative responsibilities, social media activities, and promotional/training materials and presentations. A strong emphasis will be placed on the customer recovery process and responding to Google reviews company wide. The marketing intern will help identify communication challenges during the customer service process and assist with developing communication scripts to address those findings.

Salary: $15 - $18 per hour

Hours: 15 - 25 hours per week, flexible schedule based on business needs and your class schedule.

Duration: Position starts prior to summer with potential to extend through end of summer.

This position is located onsite at our headquarters in Dublin, OH.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Composes Google review responses and works with General Managers and Customer Experience Manager during the customer recovery process.

• Assist in all marketing aspects of the business.

• Help to maintain marketing materials.

• Coordinate marketing, research, and promotion items.

• Assist in working with local businesses.

• Assist in working at scheduled employee engagement events.

• Assist with the fulfillment of marketing orders.

• May assist in deliveries and errands to local businesses & shops.

• Coordinate marketing projects with ad agencies and other vendors.

• Assists in the development and implementation of branch marketing plans.

• Under general supervision, will use and analyze marketing data.

• Confirms project timelines and provides status reports.

• Assists in brand advertising analysis.

• Assists with any questions/concerns that team members may have.

• Additional duties as assigned by the Marketing Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed at least two years of studying in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Communications majors.

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Must be familiar with general marketing principles and strategies.

• Superior verbal and written communication ability with presentation skills

• Proficiency with Canva, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software

• Aptitude with various social media platforms, as well as their associated data tracking tools

• Organization and time management skills
