Internal Title Administrative Coordinator Position Type Classified Faculty / Non-Faculty / Administration Non-Faculty Pay Band 5 Level 3 Department Religious Studies Job Purpose

The Administrative Coordinator works collaboratively with the Department of Religious Studies and School of Humanities and Social Sciences to develop and execute business-related duties.

Minimum Requirements

A high school diploma and at least two years of responsible administrative experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience with and/or willingness to learn Banner, Office 365, Outlook, Canva, online meeting and event platforms, web management, database applications, graphic design applications, as well as other systems and applications used at the College. Experience with developing and maintaining visual communication and marketing strategies (e.g., social media, blogs, websites) as well as knowledge of and experience with budget management, statistical report preparation and records management are essential for successful job performance. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and offer outstanding customer service to students, faculty, staff and the general public is crucial.

Additional Comments Regarding Position

Must be physically available to deliver and pick up, when necessary, mail items and small packages to offices across campus. Must be able to work in an office environment of student and faculty traffic. Must be willing to acquire the most up-to-date computer knowledge.
