The Cohn Early Childhood Learning Center at the Levite Jewish Community Center is currently accepting applications for afternoon teachers in our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. Part time hours are 2:00pm to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing children with a safe and nurturing learning environment, implementing developmentally appropriate learning activities, interacting with children and encouraging their involvement in activities, meeting children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs, evaluating children's progress and communicating with parents. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma. Experience working with children in a preschool setting is preferred.
