Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Write Python scripts to log current and voltage readings from Keithley 240X source meter.

Define and execute accelerated life tests for semiconductor IC

Graph life test data to determine acceleration factors for temperature and voltage

Use life test data to predict population lifetimes

Calculate random FIT estimates for IC

Education & Experience

Undergraduate or graduate EE, Physics, or Material Science major

Undergraduate semiconductor device physics course

Understand and explain how PN junctions work including sources of leakage current

Python scripting and data logging

Excel data analysis, graphing, and curve fitting

Nice to have:

Experience or interest in lasers and optical measurements

Skills & Interests

Semiconductor device reliability

Wearout failure modes

Arrhenious equation and acceleration factors

Random failure modes

FIT calculations
