Position: Administrative Support Specialist
Reports to: CFO
Position Summary:
The Administrative Support Specialist performs general administrative functions to ensure
smooth office operations while providing comprehensive support to the HR department. This role involves a combination of general administrative support, HR coordination, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities:
o Assist with recruiting tasks, scheduling interviews, and managing onboarding
processes.
o Develop and maintain onboarding and offboarding procedures.
o Support recruitment practices and maintain employee documentation.
o Track and maintain employee records and performance reviews using HR
systems.
o Assist with payroll related tasks.
o Submit payroll reports and resolve payroll tax agency notices.
o Manage all aspects of insurance/Cobra enrollments, changes, and cancellations.
o Maintain Retirement, PTO, health insurance, Cohen Cares, and other employee
benefits.
o Policy Development and Compliance
o Research, implement, and update human resource policies and procedures to
ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
o Document and submit benefit and payroll-related reporting to stay compliant with
federal and state regulations.
o Perform a wide variety of general administrative tasks.
o Support safety administrative tasks and maintain policies and guidelines.
o Provide administrative support to company management and employees.
o Anticipating the needs of executive and managerial staff.
o Other duties as assigned
