About Cognizant’s Digital Engineering Practice:
At Cognizant Digital Engineering, small cross functional teams comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, DevOps Engineers and a Big Data analyst build higher quality software faster than siloed individuals working independently.Small, nimble engineering teams builds collective empathy and comradery, thus increasing their ability to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high quality deliverables. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering provides DevOps engineers consistent opportunities to push digital boundaries while growing their exposure to transformational technologies.
Responsibilities:
•Assess and Analyze application / technology platform, current state and process.
·Plan the release of project deliverables and release life cycle
·Leading Environment management planning meeting working with different application
·SOX documentation and Audit support
·Communicate the projectrelated tasks such as plans timelines requirements etc between different teams
·Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them such that the scope scheduled and quality of the release is not affected
·Track the progress and find issues if any Always work to improve the process of release
·Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities
·Communicate with release managers from different IT departments
·Lead the GoLive activities to deploy the software successfully
·Schedule meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks if any
·Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release various notifications lists and dependencies
·Able identify process improvement and implement the changes for effective release
·Generate different metrics for QA unlock production fallout and others
·Schedule RCA meeting for the production fallouts

Work Authorization:

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[72,200 – 161,700] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
