Senior HVAC/Plumbing Mechanical Design Engineer, PE
This is a permanent, full-time position at an award-winning firm with great salary, competitive benefits package, in a fun and friendly work environment!
Responsibilities
• Design, engineer, and calculate new and pre-existing mechanical systems including HVAC (wet/dry) and plumbing/piping,among other mechanical systems (including duct work, refrigeration, and controls).
• Create executable conceptual designs,engineering calculations, energy analysis, sections/equipment layouts
• Complete site surveys, document management, and assist with scheduling
• Attend estimating, pre-construction, BIM coordination,and site visit meetings. • Coordinate with other GC and subtrades, &other engineers, as well as assist with trades • Review spec & shop drawings with CAD andRevit software
Requirements
• 10 years of HVAC/Plumbing Mechanical Design and Engineering experience
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering & PE License
• CAD & Revit
• BIM & Load-calc software knowledge (TraneTrace, Carrier HAP, Navisworks, BIM 360, Autodesk Glue, BlueBeam, eQuest, etc.)
• LEED accreditation
