Senior Azure Architect

Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is seeking a seasoned Sr. Architect with a strong background in Azure Solution Architect and Warehouse Management Concepts. With 12 to 16 years of experience the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our cloud infrastructure and optimizing our warehouse management processes to drive efficiency and innovation.

Location: Plano, TX

Required Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable high-performance Azure cloud solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate warehouse management systems with Azure cloud services.
• Conduct system architecture reviews and assessments recommending improvements and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of architectural documentation including design plans models, and protocols.
• Ensure the security reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and warehouse management systems.
• Stay abreast of new Azure features and technologies evaluating their applicability to our goals.
• Provide expert guidance and support to the development teams ensuring best practices in cloud architecture and warehouse management integration.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on Azure solutions and warehouse management concepts to enhance team capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging cloud solutions to optimize warehouse management operations.
• Manage stakeholder expectations delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have a deep understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing warehouse management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is preferred.
• A commitment to continuous learning and development in cloud technologies and warehouse management trends.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
