POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Total Rewards will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing innovative compensation and benefits programs. This role is key to attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent while supporting the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset to manage and enhance our total rewards framework, ensuring it is competitive, sustainable, and aligned with our cultural values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and implement Total Rewards goals, initiating specific programs that meet organizational objectives and ensure cost-effective implementation.
  • Lead the evaluation, restructuring, and administration of benefits programs, enhancing employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure incentive plans are effective and align with our employee-centric culture.
  • Manage the full compensation cycle, including salary banding, job analysis, market benchmarking, and pay equity.
  • Develop and manage communication strategies to educate employees on compensation and benefits offerings.
  • Oversee the annual benefits review and planning processes, including negotiating with vendors and implementing new health and wellness initiatives.
  • Provide oversight of benefits plan documents, plan design, implementation, administration, and compliance.
  • Prepare and present data-driven analyses, materials, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Oversee the HRIS platform, optimizing it for enhancements, integrations, and overall user experience.
  • Support and enhance the company's employee recognition programs, including budget development and program enhancements.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least two years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, compensation, health, welfare, and retirement plans.
  • Expertise in analyzing complex data and developing strategic insights.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, particularly Paylocity or similar systems.
  • Leadership, communication, and collaboration skills can influence senior management and key stakeholders.

WORK SETTING

  • This is an in-person role at our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ.
  • Regular working hours are Monday to Friday.
