Code Ninjas Wildwood seeks enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Instructors. As a Summer Camp Instructor, you will guide and inspire young learners aged 5-14 through engaging coding activities and projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about technology and education to impact the next generation of innovators.

Responsibilities :

• Lead instructional sessions using our established curriculum focused on coding fundamentals, game development, robotics, and more.
• Offer personalized assistance and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their learning goals.
• Foster a collaborative learning environment where campers can exchange ideas, work together on projects, and support one another.
• Illustrate coding concepts and techniques through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for campers, adhering to all safety protocols and providing supervision during camp hours.
• Encourage campers to unleash their creativity by exploring different coding languages, experimenting with design elements, and problem-solving independently.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, and organization of camp materials and equipment as needed.
• Attend training sessions to familiarize yourself with the curriculum, teaching techniques, and safety procedures.

Qualifications :

• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and helping them discover the joy of coding and technology.
• Patience and empathy in working with learners of varying skill levels and learning styles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Dependable and punctual, committed to upholding high standards of professionalism.
• A background in education, computer science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• First Aid / CPR Certification : Preferred, but not mandatory.

Position Type : Seasonal, Full-time / Part-time

• Training : PAID Training begins May 2024

• Compensation : Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
• Availability required for all Summer Camp Dates.June 10 - 14June 17 21June 24 28July 8 12July 15 19July 22 26July 29 Aug. 2Aug. 5 - 9

Hours : Camp hours vary, with full-day or half-day session options. Full-day camp staff work 35 hours per week, while half-day camp staff work 18-20 hours per week.
