Addiction Treatment for Adults The Changing Pointe Addiction Treatment Center at CenterPointe Hospital of St. Charles provides a full continuum of addiction treatment for adults including detoxification, a 4-week residential treatment program, dual disorder treatment (both addiction and mental health issues), outpatient treatment, medication-assisted treatment, family support groups and aftercare groups for life. The Changing Pointes treatment philosophy is based on the belief that addiction is a disease with identifiable, diagnosable symptoms. The good news is that addiction is treatable. CenterPointe believes that with an opportunity to learn about addiction, develop healthy coping skills, and with the support of a 12-step recovery model, life-long sobriety can be attained.
