Cocorico Cuisine is Hiring a Kitchen Staff (Full-Time) Near Nashville, TN

We created Cocorico Cuisine with the ambitious and exciting goal of bringing authentic French cuisine to Nashville, TN. All of our products are baked daily, with l’amour, and from scratch. Cocorico Cuisine is not just a brand, it is a French experience!

This position is perfect for candidates looking to learn or perfect the art of French cuisine, people with a passion for locally owned businesses, and those looking to work in a dynamic and stimulating environment. This is also a position with plenty of room to grow your role as we grow our team in the next 12 months!

The team member we are looking for is excited to learn new skills, has a strong work ethic, is adaptable, has a positive attitude, and is a great communicator. Excitement for French or European/multicultural cuisine will also make for a great applicant.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bake and cook high quality French cuisine in a commissary kitchen
  • Label and pack products for sales at markets and for wholesale or catering clients
  • Keep work space clean and wash dishes
  • Communicate with market team members efficiently
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership on new recipes and products
  • Grow with our company into potential management role
  • Perform additional kitchen responsibilities as needed


QUALIFICATIONS
:

  • 1-year experience in a fast-paced and high-volume commercial kitchen/bakery environment with a preference for those with bread baking interest
  • Great organizational skills and capacity to perform duties under deadline
  • Awesome time management, consistency, and integrity
  • Capacity to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for long hours every day in a hot kitchen and lifting up to 50 lb


TYPICAL SCHEDULE
- Full-time available


  • We customize your schedule with your availability and plan together several weeks ahead so you can have the same schedule on a weekly basis (no evenings and you are usually done by 1pm!).
  • Our team operates in shifts from Monday to Friday 5:00 am to 1:00 pm and Saturday from 3:30 am to 9:30 am. Schedule is flexible with 2 Saturdays per month mandatory.

> Hours may vary depending on activity throughout the year.


COMPENSATION:

From $14 to $16/hour based on experience company perks including:

  • Retention bonus at the end of the market season
  • 25% on all your Cocorico Cuisine orders,
  • Free parking,
  • Free food when leftovers,
  • Complimentary working shoes (for full-time employees),
  • Team appreciation events, etc.
