Job Title: Laundry Attendant Department: Housekeeping

Supervisor: General Manager

Purpose Of Position: To provide an efficient & friendly atmosphere to service guests. Follow all Company policies & procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Carry out laundry attendant responsibilities including, but not limited to; greeting guests, stripping rooms of linens, sorting linens, washing & drying linens, folding linens, assist with stocking rooms & carts for room change over.
• Provide quality service for guests including pertinent information about the area & hotel.
• Giving Courteous & polite service.
• Assist in training of new staff.
• Demonstrate good communication skills.
• Perform basic math using a calculator.
• Have legible handwriting.
• Knowledge of washer & dryers.
• Record information in the daily Communication book.
• Work with other departments to ensure room status is up-to-date on a timely basis.
• Maintain a neat & clean appearance behind the front desk & in the laundry area.
• Implement all company policies & procedures for safety & security.
• Cleaning guestrooms & lobby area as needed.
• Restocking supplies
• Help with breakfast & lobby.
• Deliver cribs, towels or other items to guestrooms as requested.

• Neat, well-groomed appearance.
• Must have a flexible schedule to include evenings & weekends.
• Good communication skills.
• Pleasant personality & people skills.

Accountability Maintains high level of quality, service, & cleanliness. Daily accountability for reporting to work &/or finding a replacement to cover your shift.Experience or Training RequiredHigh school education.2) Previous hotel experience preferred but not necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
