Full Job Description Day and Night Shifts

Position's Pay $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 4 days/nights on 3 days/nights off 12 hours shift

Position Summary

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of refined petroleum products in bulk within an assigned area.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor web portals for station inventories
  • Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members
  • Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries
  • Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers
  • Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets
  • Receive orders from suppliers, gas station dealers, and renewable fuels distributors
  • Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
  • Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
  • Solicit freight from customers
  • Create loads in dispatch system
  • Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of dispatching experience
  • Excellent conflict resolution and skills
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
