We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facility in Burbank, California.
This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our manufacturing, assembly, warehousing, and support operations.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our production processes while ensuring a safe and productive work environment for our employees.
Responsibilities :
Oversee all aspects of the facility's maintenance, including equipment, machinery, infrastructure, and buildings HVAC system.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Coordinate and oversee repair and maintenance activities, both in-house and with external contractors, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability and proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Coordinate with various departments to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize disruption to production schedules.
Oversee facility-related projects, such as expansions, renovations, and equipment installations.
Develop and implement procedures for effective utilization of space, equipment, and resources.
Monitor and manage energy consumption to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facilities management to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Prepare and manage the facilities budget, monitoring expenses and making recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements :
Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Licensed / Certified HVAC Technician preferred.
Proven experience (5 years) in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for machinery, equipment, and building systems.
Familiarity with CNC machines, manual manufacturing, welding, assembly, and mechanics is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer applications related to facilities management and maintenance.
Valid driver's license.
