Coast Linen Services is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Neptune, NJ

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.

Duties:

  • Completes employment eligibility documentation, including I-9's and W-4 in a timely manner
  • Staffing and Onboarding: Participate in the staffing process including recruitment, selection, and onboarding
  • Assists coordinators and supervisors with accurate and timely completion of employee skill assessments and performance reviews
  • Tracks evaluation progress and provides reminders and assistance completing documents
  • Coordinates in-person New Hire Orientation sessions
  • Implement, maintain, and reviews payroll processing and accounting systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
  • Assist with implementation and administration of compensation and benefits
  • Assists with job posting and advertising processes
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details
  • Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Handles employee offboarding procedures
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • At least 2-3 years general human resource experience
  • At least 2-3 years experience in payroll
