The Internperforms tasks involving physical labor to assist in building structures for,business, and construction sites.Thisposition is responsible for assisting in cleaning and preparing constructionsites for the erection of structures and buildings, Unloading and loading ofmaterials, reading of plans and specifications, tending machines, mixing and pouring of concrete, and assists carpenters,operating engineers, and other construction site workers.

EssentialDuties & Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and preparing sitesincluding removal of trees and debris, along with removing hazardous materials
• Use spray guns for application ofmaterial to ceilings or walls.
• Read blueprints and designs and surveyand measure equipment.
• Assist in clearing and preparinghighway work zones, dig trenches, and transport and set off explosives totunnel into earth or roads
• .Other duties as assigned by the ProjectManagement Team.
• Use latest technology and software to complete projects as assigned.

Knowledge,Experience, and Special Skills Required

• Be a rising sophomore,junior or senior pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, ConstructionManagement, Construction Engineering Technology, Occupational Health, Safety,& Environment, or a related field. Exceptions will be made on a limitedbasis for High School Students interested in pursuing a career in ConstructionManagement.
• Strongverbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent documentation andorganizational skills.
• Demonstratesaccuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality andmonitors own work to ensure quality is met.
• Mustdemonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary informationaccurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification isneeded.
• Must maintain a professional and cleanappearance at all times consistent with company standards.
• Demonstrates reliability and abides bythe company attendance policy.
