Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector II
Job Summary:
Performs quality control inspections.
Essential Job Functions:
Interpret and understand drawings and schematics (i.e. customer supplied, internal documentation). Approve in-process production by conducting visual, mechanical, and electrical testing, (as required) to confirm compliance to applicable engineering requirements. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, inputting data into quality database. Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Maintain quality standards and communicate those standards when necessary. Write non-conformance reports (NCR) on rejected product and communicate the NCR to the proper department(s).Use high voltage test equipment to test the product, and must have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Education and Certifications:
High School Diploma required plus minimum of five (5) years quality experience

Manufacturing environment
Supervision:
As much or as little as requested by Manager

Requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Basic knowledge of Military Specifications
- Basic knowledge of Government Packaging Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Government Source Inspection Requirements.
- Familiarization with Returned Material Processes
- Requires strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with all departments.
- Experience working with calibration systems
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements
