Summary:This position is primarily responsible for the de burring of metal parts using hand held smoothing equipment. Responsibilities:De Burr metal frames to meet quality specificationsPerform self inspection to ensure conformance to quality standardsExamine work pieces for defects and report to Supervisory levelWear Personal Protective EquipmentPerforms other duties as assigned Requirements:High school or GED diploma.Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Work understanding and usage of power tools. Great communication and organizational skills. Positive attitude. Self-motivated.Ability to work as part of a team. Physical Demands and Work Environment: This position will work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. Position will be primarily working in a standing position for up to 6 plus hours per day. Some duties will require sitting for short periods of time. Must be capable of lifting 0-25lbs. in the proper ergonomic position.
