Summary:
The responsibility of a Metal Blender/Sander is to smooth, polish or sand metal components through hand held sanding equipment.
Responsibilities:

• De-burr metal components to meet with the quality specifications.
• Perform self-inspection to ensure conformance to quality standards.
• Examine work pieces for defects and report to the team leader if found.
• On occasions, perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Wear Personal Protection Equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school or GED diploma.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Work understanding and usage of power tools.
• Great communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position will work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. Position will be primarily working in a standing position for up to 6 plus hours per day. Some duties will require sitting for short periods of time. Must be capable of lifting 0-50lbs. in the proper ergonomic position.
