Program Management Director
Mission:
The main goal of the Director of Program Management is to ensure our major customers have a smooth journey as each adopts an RBQM and/or AI and statistical monitoring strategy with CluePoints technology as the enabler. The main goal of the director is to oversee that all projects associated with the account are executed in a way as to provide benefit to both CluePoints and our customers while executing with superior quality and mitigating risk during the implementation phase. It is expected that the assignment is on the account up to the point where the customer reaches the stage of autonomy and go-live. An overall understanding of the client's objectives and strategy is necessary to drive proper implementation.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the overall implementation of projects to ensure smooth and effective enterprise implementation. The Director is responsible for top-tier strategic accounts, especially those that are key to our successful growth as a company. In this role, you will work hand in hand with the Operations Team, especially the Project Managers. You will also be expected to aid project managers in navigating through the organization to provide support for new product initiatives, research initiatives and other cross-functionally related goals. You will make sure that all projects are aligned and, on all factors considered such as key stakeholders, change management needs, organizational readiness, and our ability to provide services while meeting the customers' strategic goals and milestones.
You will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
Main Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Build strong customer relationships with the goal of assisting them during the implementation of CluePoints solutions;
  • Oversee the various projects that are ongoing during the implementation phase working with the PMs to ensure flawless execution;
  • Leads efforts to identify barriers to operational success;
  • Act as a point person for escalation and resolution of key issues
  • Identify customer needs to bring in the appropriate experts from the Operations team and across the organization;
  • Develop expertise in all CluePoints solutions and relevant features and functionality to be able to assess where there are customers' needs;
  • Understand the customer’s objectives and challenges to provide a project plan that considers the true needs for successful adoption;
  • Guide the PMs and teams assigned by sharing the customer objectives and the importance of those objectives for proper implementation and adoption;
  • Provide regular updates on account overview, risks, challenges and status to the COO and other members of the leadership team as needed;
  • Work seamlessly with the BD for successful handover at the initial phases and CS for successful turnover of responsibilities post-implementation.
Requirements:
  • 7 years of experience with project leadership in a clinical research environment
  • Demonstrated ability to align complex project management initiatives that may involve 1 or more Project Managers assigned
  • Ability to travel occasionally – estimated up to 10% of the time
  • Experience working in a clinical research field, with knowledge and understanding of the regulations and standards related to clinical trial conduct and clinical data management
  • College degree, preferably in a business, scientific or technical discipline
  • Experience as a project manager in clinical development
  • Proven track record of coaching, influencing and building strong working relationships especially cross-functionally and without direct line management responsibilities
