The Arc of Chester County is Hiring a Director of Children's Early Learning Services Program Near West Chester, PA

Position: Director of Children’s Early Learning Services Programs
Available: Immediately

Position Summary:

This director is responsible for the overall management and evaluation of our Children’s Early Learning programs and services, which offers an inclusive preschool, home based education, and therapy services. We are looking for a creative leader with strong communication skills, who will be dedicated to the growth of our children and families, our staff, and the program. Duties:

Recruit, hire, train, supervise and evaluate assigned staff in accordance with agency policy and program requirements.
Develop and implement program goals, objectives and procedures
Function as liaison with all funding and referral sources and other community agencies as needed.
Provide guidance to families, as appropriate/required.
Develop, implement, and manage annual program budget and expenditures in conjunction with designated team members.
Plan and implement staff development activities to promote creativity, enhance growth and learning, and ensure compliance.
Conduct and participate in staff meetings.
Ensure completion and compliance with all paperwork requirements.
Ensure use of agency database for contracts, billing, grants, etc.
Participate in the development and ongoing management of contracts and grants.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or related field required.
PA Teaching Certification in Special Education, Pre-K and Early Childhood Education or Pre K-4 required.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in managing programs for children with and without disabilities
Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.
