Job Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Security Guards to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Duties:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access or activities
- Conduct regular security checks of premises, including doors, windows, and gates
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any suspicious activities
- Operate CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to monitor premises
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment
- Perform access control duties by verifying identification and granting or denying entry as necessary
- Assist in emergency situations by following established protocols and providing first aid or CPR if required
- Handle conflicts or difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
Experience:
- Valid security certificate/license is required
- Proven experience in CCTV operation and surveillance techniques
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and practices is an asset
- Experience in loss prevention or risk assessment is advantageous
- Military or law enforcement background is highly desirable
