Club Assist US is Hiring an Executive Director, Product/Tech Development Near Lake, FL

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 In fulfilling the requirements for the position, the successful applicant will:

  • Direct and implement the organization’s technical research, development, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Manage the existing slate of products and lead the ongoing development of enhancements to support increased value to the Clubs.
  • Work closely with Business Development to research new products, product enhancements, and product redesign.
  • Work with suppliers focusing future products and needed technical expertise so that we remain in the forefront of industry change (EV’s, lithium, 48 volt etc.)
  • Take part in vendor management; negotiate and leverage our buying power with vendors to secure advantageous pricing agreements and ensure our intellectual property is covered.
  • Work with Club partners to identify program enhancement opportunities utilizing our products and tools to secure sales and enhance Club and member satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular quality control activities to ensure our products and tools are validated and meet expectations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all our product and service offerings from both a technical and business point of view. Communicate this expertise internally and externally to our club partners.
  • Project lead for Toolbox App development, all tester applications and maintenance of our battery fitment database
  • Work with Operations to review training material and to plan implementation of training for service providers ensuring compliance of all AAA certified training programs.
  • Identify training needs with Operations and oversee scheduling of training as needed.
  • Measure training’s impact on performance at all levels.
  • Present our product and training solutions as part of our value proposition to internal and external stakeholders at all levels to drive bottom line results
     

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Mechanical/Technical expertise
  • Demonstrable technical automobile and electrical/battery expertise. A hands-on technician at one time in your work history is a plus.
  • Successful track record operating at all levels in an organization and delivering measurable results.
  • Track record in engaging and influencing senior leadership and management teams to deliver change programs effectively.
  • Track record of delivering outstanding customer service levels.
  • High-level expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Lead and direct the work of others.
  • Demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
  • Experience within the automotive industry, roadside service, or mobile services will be viewed favorably.
  • Able to review data, market conditions, and opportunities to make sound decisions and judgments.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written leading to high levels of confidence.

This position will require occasional travel across North America. To meet business needs may require regular time away from home including overnight/working outside of normal business hours to meet member service requirements can be expected. The role may occasionally require some physical work.
