Cloud Cleaning is seeking a Staffing/Human Resources Director for a growing commercial cleaning company in White Oak TX. This successful individual will provide quality services and support by promoting the concept that the company's employees are their most valuable resource and will be treated as such.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide service and support to managers, supervisors, office staff and cleaning employees.
Hiring & Recruitment- Strategic recruitment and retention of qualified individuals, all while recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the workplace. This includes creating compelling job descriptions, streamlining event planning/scheduling (such as job fairs and internships), and designing an effective onboarding process with input from all business lines.
Implementation and Management of Learning and Training Programs – Training, development and education to promote individual success of employees, which will in turn add capacity to the company.
Overall HR Operations- Managing compensation and benefits, facilitating performance reviews, and setting an ideal work culture that encourages employee involvement while providing resources for the company and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
Oversee and handle Payroll for all employees.
Be present for all meetings/huddles scheduled throughout the day.
Handle all unemployment claims with proper documentation.
Attend community events and job fairs to locate suitable employees for hiring purposes.
Attend Continuing Education programs offered by The Texas Workforce Commission.
Handle and maintain all Disciplinary actions regarding employees of the company.
Be available to meet after hours with employees and supervisors regarding disciplinary actions.
Creating financial offers to new employees.
Handle background checks for potential employees, including drivers license and drug screens.
Ensure all new and prospective staff information is available in HR platform
Must be comfortable speaking in front of crowds
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred, but work experience and history considered)
Two (2) years of practical Staffing/ HR experience in an entry level HR role or HR environment
Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality;
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Computer Programs and software
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
