We are searching for a well-rounded digital marketing advisor, equipped with strong skills and competencies to drive her/his success as a Clix Account Manager. The mission of this role is to build long-lasting, performance-oriented, and relationship-driven client partnerships, especially through the leadership of effective digital marketing strategies across various industries and markets. An effective candidate is business-minded, and a credible digital marketing thought leader who commands confidence and is motivated by performance, empathy, and competition (among other competencies listed below).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients across all digital marketing communication (email, video, phone, and in-person)
  • Serve as an impactful extension of each account’s business and/or marketing department; operate with each business’ best interests, goals, and needs in mind
  • Develop strong client relationships to reinforce the foundation of each Clix partnership (trust and confidence)
  • Remain up to date on assigned accounts' and digital marketing industry trends; expand knowledge of broad digital marketing platforms and strategies, especially around channels such as organic, paid advertising, programmatic, email, and more…
  • Develop account-level strategic ideas and solutions through individual and/or team brainstorming efforts
  • Manage ongoing digital marketing goal-setting and expectations management among accounts
  • Educate and ensure a mutual understanding of goals, strategy, and supporting services
  • Develop reporting, and lead performance reviews and strategic planning efforts across all assigned accounts; articulate efforts effectively and provide meaningful insights tailored to each account
  • Drive thought leadership by sharing opportunities with accounts based not only on your expanding knowledge of digital marketing but also on Clix’s expanding service capabilities
  • Effectively work in a cross-functional team environment, especially with project management and service teammates and partners to fulfill Clix’s accountabilities
  • Collaborate and build positive relationships with team members and assist with deliverables
  • Other relevant tasks as assigned

Ideal Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years of related experience in a client-facing Account Management role
  • Deep understanding of marketing principles and practices
  • Advanced web analytics experiences (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience or equivalent
  • Beginner-to-intermediate experience with the WordPress content management system
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and clients
  • Excellent judgment, demonstrated leadership, and business acumen
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to collaboratively resolve conflicts
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity, but knows when to ask for help when needed
