Introduction:
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems as needed. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, replacing gas hoses, checking and replacing filters, and completing tasks such as painting, mulching and pressure washing.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, including electrical and plumbing (Applicant must be willing to attend classes as assigned to increase their knowledge of these areas. Cost covered by employer.)
Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner and be willing to work Saturday and Sunday when needed in emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory while following safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Fulfill a schedule of 35-40 hours a week, Monday-Friday with 30 min break for lunch. (hours may adjust for special projects and emergency situations.
Qualifications:
Prefer some experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. (training provided to increase knowledge in these areas)
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks while showing trustworthiness regarding company property and funds
Valid driver's license.
