Introduction:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facility. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment and systems as needed. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, replacing gas hoses, checking and replacing filters, and completing tasks such as pressure washing, painting, mulching.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, including electrical and plumbing.
Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner including emergencies on Saturday and Sunday. Regular work schedule Mon-Fri 35-40 hours a week with 30 min lunch breaks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:
Prefer some experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Basic Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems (Applicant must be willing to take part in educational classes selected and paid for by employer to increase knowledge in these areas.)
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE IS A MUST AS THIS JOB INVOLVES TRAVEL FROM STORE TO STORE.
