Clinical Reference Laboratory, Inc. is Hiring a HR Communications Manager Near Lenexa, KS

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Develop and execute a communications strategy for the Human Resources function. Lead and support key deliverables that will support the continued transformation of HR and HR driven projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Execute on internal/external communication and engagement initiatives, which include but aren’t limited to: social media/online presence, written communications, presentations, reporting support, recruitment support, project/initiative related deliverables, talking points, compensation strategy, sourcing support, and other key deliverables.
  • Partner with Senior HR leadership in order to ensure communication strategy and deliverables are aligned with and drive the employee experience, including remote workers.
  • Draft, iterate, and finalize announcements and communication materials.
  • Lead projects and support a variety of quick turn-around deliverables including presentations, materials that are presented to our Executive Leaders both within HR and other business functions and support a variety of projects that lead to enhanced employee experience and engagement.
  • Identify HR projects that require change management or communications support and produce high quality deliverables.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are aligned on messaging.
  • Ensure brand expectations are met, and consistent messaging is delivered.
  • Oversee compensation programs and support other HR functions as needed.
  • Continuously improve skills through in-house training, self-study methods, and other available training resources.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
  • Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE: 3 years relevant communications and HR experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Able to produce detailed, high-quality content for consumption by HR, managers, and employees. Ability to interact with senior leaders
  • Proven at creating communication strategy and plans within a tight timeframe
  • Proven experience developing and publishing high quality digital content utilizing MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word; Photoshop; Google suite or related tools
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of extremely sensitive data at all times
  • Ability to be at work and on time
  • Ability and judgment to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees, clients and management

This position requires the necessary physical attributes for office work such as:

  • Sitting for extended lengths of time

  • Light lifting, up to 10 pounds
