With an experienced Emergency Services Nursing support staff working under them, the ED Nurse Director will have the proper resources necessary to ensure that the Emergency Department is operating at the highest level possible and all goals of the department are being met. The ED Nurse Director will report directly to the CNO and will collaborate with them on unit goals and initiatives.
As the Nurse Director Emergency Department, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative operations, maintaining a fiscally responsible budget, staffing and hiring, developing and implementing departmental procedures, and monitoring and evaluating staff performance. The Emergency Department RN Director will be an experienced nursing leader in acute care hospital emergency services speciality.
