Responsibilities of the RN Critical Care ICU will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the Critical Care department. Additionally, the Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans.
Ideally, the Critical Care ICU nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their Maryland or compact multi-state registered nurses license, and have at least 1 year of direct patient care experience working in a Critical Care unit.
