Reporting to the Director of Nursing Education, the Professional Development RN Educator is responsible for coordinating the Hospital’s Education and Professional Development Department within the Emergency Department. The Professional Development RN Educator will work with ED RNs to provide mentorship to new graduate RNs in the Emergency Department Nurse Residency Program and well as provide experienced ED RNs with Nursing Education and Professional Development

In addition, the Professional Development RN Educator will participate in the nurse recruitment process, ensure departments are meeting professional compliance requirements, and will also provide education and professional development to non-clinical staff members.
