Nurse Manager Acute Care reports directly up to the Director of Acute Care. Nurse Manager will oversee 3 floors while working side by side with 2 other managers over medical surgical and telemetry. 

Responsibilities of Nurse Manager Acute Care may vary, but will include;

• Monitoring each patients vital signs
• Providing education and support to each family and patient
• Administering medications, and helping with medical dressings
• Admitting new patients, and planning and coordinating discharges 
• Assisting in post-treatment plans for patients 
• Training staff nurses in the department
