A reputable hospital in the greater Maryland / DC area is actively seeking a Nurse Educator ICU to join their esteemed educational team.

The Nurse Educator ICU will work for a 300 bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center. Responsibilities of the Nurse Educator ICU will include developing educational curriculum and programs, new hire orientation, current department staff educational programs, updating policy procedures and implementing quality improvement plans. As the department resource, the Nurse Educator ICU must be up to date on best practices, a strong communicator, and cross collaborate with other Nurse Educators, Nurse Managers, Directors, specialists, physicians, and ancillary staff. 

The Nurse Educator ICU must have previous experience working as a Nurse Educator or Clinical Specialist, hold previous clinical experience working in critical care, intensive care unit ICU, or emergency department, along with their active Registered Nurse License (may obtain correct state license prior to starting) and BSN (master’s preferred).
