Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO and Chief Executive Officer CEO, the Administrative Nurse Director Surgical Services will become responsible for this fast-paced department with high annual surgical volumes. Managing a team of approximately 70 FTEs across 9 Operating Rooms including the on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center, the Nurse Director Perioperative Services will provide strong administrative leadership to OR staff, serving as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, and their families, as well as motivating staff and promoting an attitude of excellence in all areas. This role will become responsible for implementation of recruitment and retention strategies for OR services, overseeing departmental budgeting, identifying opportunities for quality and performance improvement, in addition to other administrative duties as assigned.

Ideal candidate qualities include:- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field- Bachelor of Science Degree and active Arizona State RN License- 5 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in a similar-sized setting- Proven ability to bring teams together, enhancing employee engagement and fostering an overall positive work environment
