How you will make an impact: As a Technical Sales Representative at ClickBio, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining customer relationships, driving sales, and contributing to our company's growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Managing, developing, and growing accounts within your designated territory.
● Meet established territory sales goals.
● Efficiently gauge laboratory workflows and understand customer priorities and challenges to effectively recommend ClickBio’s consumable, magnetic, device and custom solutions.
● Maintain a technical understanding of the product line as well as competitors.
● Contribute to a variety of marketing and sales techniques to reach a wide audience of researchers.
● Represent the company at industry trade shows and conferences.
● Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files necessary for proper management of sales.
● Communicate customer needs to management regularly to assist with new product pipelines.
● Travel frequently to customers in your designated territory.
We are seeking a qualified candidate with the following qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field-preferably Biology or Chemistry.
● 2 years of customer-facing laboratory sales is required.
● Functional knowledge of laboratory applications (cell culture, NGS, Sample Prep, PCR, ELISA)
● Must be able and willing to travel monthly at least 50% of the time.
● Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs into product specifications for the engineering team.
● Must possess exceptional organizational skills to multitask and meet deadlines as needed.
● Understanding of laboratory procedures and methodology with a focus on automation.
● Preferably you will have a network within Pharma (i.e Pfizer, Merck, Moderna)
