Clever Oaks Montessori School is Hiring an Assistant Toddler Teacher Near Plantation, FL
Our school is currently seeking an assistant teacher for our Montessori toddler classroom (18 months-3.5 years old). This schedule for this role is from approximately 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with a 30-min lunch break.
The Assistant Teacher supports the Teacher and/or Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children, supervises the class when the Lead is out of the room, helps with lunch time, and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room. The ideal applicant is patient, kind, reliable and hard-working. Previous early childhood/classroom experience is preferred.
Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must clear a federal and local background check
- Must have or be willing to obtain 45 hours of DCF Child Care Courses
- Knowledge of Montessori philosophy is a plus!
