TODDLER/PRE-K 2 TEACHER

We are currently seeking professional Preschool Teachers for this location. Our classroom teachers are responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of our students. As a toddler / Pre-K 2 teacher, you will prepare and implement activities to further develop children's physical, social, and emotional growth and provide materials and resources for children to explore through learning experiences and active play.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports and supervises children during all activities.
• Use Positive Behavior Support with children. 
• Prepare and implement classroom lesson plans, programs, and schedules.
• Develop plans, and prepare instructional aids/materials for classroom activities.
• Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Complete all academy and classroom paperwork, such as daily notes, student reports, and attendance records.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested.
• Support children with meal times and clean-up.
• Ensure that all classroom and outdoor equipment are in good working condition and are used and maintained properly.
• Present children with different classroom activities with the support of co-teachers in the classroom.
• Communicate appropriate information to parents and maintain developmental profiles for children.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have completed their 45 hour DCF training. 
• 2 Years of classroom teaching experience
• Pleasant/friendly demeanor.
• Highly professional and dependable
• Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages, as well as with parents, coworkers, and management.
