Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Billing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing and processing billing invoices, managing construction project financial data, and ensuring accuracy in billing procedures. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process contract billing invoices and lien waivers, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review and verify construction project financial data, including labor and materials.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate billing for completed work and approved change orders.
• Maintain billing records and documentation for auditing purposes.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and tracking expenses.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and concerns.
• Provide support to the accounting department as needed.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in progress billing, accounting, and waiver familiarity in the construction industry a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction billing procedures and regulations is a plus.
