Our client is a leading General Contractor just northeast of Cleveland, OH that's been in business since 2000. Specializing in Federal projects, They are on the lookout for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their Finance Team. We are looking for someone local to the greater Cleveland and though the team is mostly remote, we're looking for someone who doesn't mind coming into the office occasionally (1-2X/week at most)

This full-time role calls for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to not only manage accounts payable but also to function as the 'glue' of our office operations. Your day-to-day will include everything from handling inquiries and processing payments to managing office supplies and IT communications, ensuring our team is prepared to excel every single day.

We are ideally looking for someone with experience with AIA Billing from the Construction Industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage Accounts Payable, including invoice preparation and entry.
• Ensure compliance with subcontractor documentation including COI, W-9, and Worker’s Compensation.
• Audit certified payroll.
• Manage vehicle license plate renewals.
• Complete credit applications.
• Develop and maintain organized accounting files and systems to ensure accessibility, especially during audits or year-end reviews.
• Liaise with Project Managers and assist the Accounting Manager with special projects.
• Act as liaison with Pinnacle’s third-party IT administrator.
• Perform various office coordinator and administrative duties.

Ideal Candidate:

• 1-2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with AIA billing (Forms G702 and G702)
• Experience with Foundation software is beneficial (A/R Software).
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of effectively managing relationships with subcontractors, customers, and team members.
