Cleveland State University is Hiring an Electrical and Computer Engineering Fellow Near Cleveland, OH
Performs research and development in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Conducts independent research, submits research for publication as well as conducting required experiments and simulations. Responsible for applying for grant proposals. Mentors graduate and undergraduate students. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
Actively pursuing a PhD preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
Background in communication theory, wireless communications, advanced mathematics and optimization.
Ability to use a programming platform i.e., MATLAB and programing language i.e., Python.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficient in written and verbal communication skills, the ability to make effective presentations, have strong public speaking skills, develop, and drive change and effectively communicate change.
Detailed oriented and capable of managing large amounts of data, maintain detailed comprehensive records, analyze, and organize information, have effective project, and time management skills and be well organized.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Imaging Software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
