Clear Smiles Dental is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Margate, FL

A professional dental team looking for an experienced, motivated, and efficient dental assistant and sterilization technician for our practice. We pride ourselves on quality service and care, so our ideal candidate must be friendly, responsible, punctual, ethical, and polite and have good communication skills, be organized, and be willing to learn.

**** ONLY APPLICANTS WITH DENTAL EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED****

Must be bilingual

Responsibilities:

• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment for each patient.

• Organizing and laying out instruments for dentist's use, handing instruments and other materials to the dentist during procedures.

• Taking and developing x-rays into the system and taking impressions for casts.

• Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures.

• Proficiently make temporary crowns and bridges.

• Obtaining patients' dental records.

• Questioning patients about their medical history and recording information for the dentist's reference.

• Advising patients on dental care and making patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.

· Perform lab duties such as pouring models, fabricating whitening trays, night guards, and retainers.

· Set up rooms for all operative procedures and turn the room inefficiently.

· Seat patients and obtain consent.

· Able to send cases to dental labs and properly enter into the software with accurate return dates, giving enough time for a proper turnaround.

• Excellent customer service skills and effective communicating skills

• Team player and enthusiastic attitude

• Be caring and friendly

• Eager to learn and can adapt quickly

• Ability to be proactive and able to take initiative

• Great computer and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task

• Must be able to talk and listen to patients

• Must be able to work at a fast pace

• Able to make temporary crowns and bridges

• Ability to present and close treatment plans(when needed)

• Experience with Dentrix

Employment Type: Full Time, Monday thru ThursdayYears Experience: 3 - 5 years
