Clean Harbors is Hiring a Project Manager (FT) Near Norwell, MA

Clean Harbors is seeking a Project Manager in our Corporate offices in Norwell, MA. The Project Manager will provide project oversite support to one of our SVP's, assisting in growing the revenues and profitability in defined business lines. Scope out, inventory, secure approvals, draft and review safety plans, assess labor and equipment resources for opportunities that need more complex management and technical customer interaction.

On-site daily in our Corporate Offices in Norwell, MA
Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner
  • Provide technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement
  • Ability to effectively delegate, yet maintain control and awareness of all operations supporting the customer
  • Act as an agent of business and is involved with developing relationships with key customers and understanding the customer issues
  • Oversees and is responsible for projects for health & safety, profitability, completeness and professionalism
  • Review operational procedures to assure correct health & safety action plans and communicate effectively with the health & safety organization regarding on-site specific action
  • Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
  • Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
  • Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • 2 years required knowledge/experience in the hazardous waste management industry
  • High School diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • Ability to work in a high demand, fast-paced, fluctuating, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in a high demand deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • RCRA, OSHA and DOT compliance proficiency preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel up to 10%
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced in Excel)
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements
  • Successfully complete a background check and drug test
