The Civi Group is Hiring a Project Manager (Residential Construction) Near Weymouth, MA

The Civi Group has partnered with a well-established commercial property development, acquisition, and construction firm. This company boasts extensive experience across multiple sectors including industrial, office, healthcare, warehouse/distribution, cold storage, multi-family, and retail markets, mainly focusing on the South Shore area. They are currently looking for a Project Manager to lead medium to large scale residential projects, including those that involve wood frame construction among other types.

This Project Manager will be the primary company representative on-site, overseeing the entire project lifecycle. You will serve as the main point of contact for both clients and the construction team, driving safety culture and making key decisions related to cost and project scheduling.

Job Title: Project Manager

Project Types: Residential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to perform all essential Project Manager job responsibilities
  • Manage the entire construction process from initiation to closeout.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
  • Oversee project drawings, contracts, and subcontractor activities.
  • Obtain permits and monitor financials and timelines.
  • Lead stakeholder meetings and provide project updates.
  • Collaborate with the Field Operations Director to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Handle change orders, RFIs, and necessary documentation.
  • Estimate and oversee project budgets.
  • Manage bid reviews, scope trades, and negotiate contracts.

Skills & Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or any related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of Construction / Project Management experience in residential wood-frame construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Timberline, and Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project.
  • Construction Supervisor’s License is preferred but not required.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
