Regional Operations Manager
The Regional Operations Manager oversees the organizational activities of businesses
within their assigned region based out of Annandale, VA. They are responsible for execution of operational leadership in a
variety of departments from finance, human resources, and accounts payable. They are
responsible for the supervision, hiring, and training of employees while managing quality
assurance programs, strategize process improvements and more. The Regional Operations
Manager is ultimately responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency and profitability
of assigned clinics within their region.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
•Travel to assigned clinics, up to 25% of the time, to support and oversee project activities.
• Maintain constant communication with upper management, staff and scheduling
department to ensure proper operations and maximize utilization rates.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and
sustain the organizational internal capacity.
• Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives.
• Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
• Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.
• Performance management of direct reports.
• Lead, motivate and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding
environment, including collaborating with the Human Resources Department to
implement career development plans all direct reports and problem resolution.
• Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity
targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and deliver excellent patient care.
• Partner with cross functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and
systems.
• Works closely with legal and safety departments to ensure activities remain compliant.
• Audits processes and procedures within assigned clinics and region.
• Oversees materials and inventory management with accost conscious mindset.
Minor Duties and Responsibilities
• Tracks issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves issues of minor or medium
complexity involving stakeholders and escalate to appropriate level when required.
• Assesses a variety of situations and provide clarity to team and stakeholders.
• Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal
business lines, and external vendors.
• Solicits and responds to feedback while gaining commitment and support from staff and
upper management.
• Supports back-office and firm-wide training programs, reinforcing tech and operations
infrastructure between departments to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
• Stay up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technologies.
• Works closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and
compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to
regulatory-based best practices.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field.
(Preferred)
Experience:
2 years’ experience in operations management position.
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually
Other:
Strong budget development and oversight skills.
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch
operations and patient service.
Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes.
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in
Microsoft 365.
Integrity, reliability, and discretion.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to work through ambiguity and quickly adapt to change.
