Administrative and HR Assistant

Classic Design is looking for an Administrative and HR Assistant with an accounting clerk background to join our team. This individual will help the management and HR teams meet company objectives by helping with general office, reception, human resources, and accounting related responsibilities. This individual must have experience working with confidential personal and company information.

What would a typical day look like?

• As the first point of contact for visitors you will greet and assist them to the appropriate building(s)
• Answer phone calls and direct to the appropriate individual(s)
• Set up meetings, lunches, and reserves conference rooms as required
• Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions from various departments
• Maintains general office supplies by checking stock, anticipating future needed supplies, place orders and verify receipt of goods
• Assists the accounting team in various activities
• Assists in general filing duties for HR and Accounting
• Onboards new employees
• Maintains confidentiality of personal and company information.
• Assists in general communication topics such as newsletters, town halls, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Strong communication skills, always acts in a professional manner
• Confidentiality with personal and company information is required.
• Punctuality and strong attendance record required
• Associate degree preferred
• QuickBooks and Concur experience is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work independently
